There has been countless generations producing phenomenal Middle Eastern art with little to no public access to it. Exactly what the column title implies, by talking about, examining, and celebrating Middle Eastern art we aim to place our creations on the forefront of the art scene and educate the world about our culture through our art.

These postcards follow a person's trip with their families, who learns more about themselves while they're away from their country of adoption. While losing sight of familiar faces, they get in touch with people that resemble them, making them calmer and more organised in their thoughts.

LETTERS FROM DIASPORA - رسائل من المهجر

A series of letters to the writer's future daughter that deal with issues of identity, language, politics, family, gender, friendship, and art. The letters aim not only to illustrate and record the experiences of one Arab and Muslim woman who lives between the States and Jordan, but also to be political acts in their expression of love and solidarity with the writer's future daughter and potential readers.
